March 2023:

Caroline Gillenson presented her candidacy work in a flash talk at the Society of Research in Child Development's 2023 Biennial Meeting in Salt Lake City, UT.

June 2022:

It is with great joy and pride that Dr. Bagner says goodbye to Brynna and Perrine as they both go to complete their internship year. Brynna and Perrine both joined the lab in 2018 and have grown to become great collaborators, key lab personnel, and friends. The lab is proud of all of their accomplishments and for successfully defending their dissertations. We are confident Brynna and Perrine will grow to achieve wonderful things!

May 2022: ECBL started the month of May with many great things to celebrate!

March 2022: Perrine Heymann and Brynna Heflin matched at their top choice internship! Perrine matched with Children’s National Hospital and Brynna with Harvard Medical School/Boston Children’s Hospital. We are so happy for them and know they will achieve wonderful things.

November 2021: Perrine Heymann and Enid Moreira presented at this year's ABCT Virtual Conference. They presented on adapting the Infant Behavior Program due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Great job Perrine and Enid!

August 2020: The ECBL welcomes Keara Neuman, a new clinical science doctoral student, to the lab.

June 2020: Brynna Heflin had her first-authored publication, “Impact of Parenting Intervention on Observed Aggressive Behaviors in At-Risk Infants” published in the Journal of Child and Family Studies. Congrats Brynna! 

April 2020: Dr. Bagner received funding from NICHD for a new R01 titled "Preventive Intervention for Behavior Problems in Infants from High-Risk Families." Congrats Dr. Bagner! Stay tuned for more updates as our team gets the project started.

March 2016: Congratulations to Nicole Barroso for being named a winner of the Florida International Graduate Scholarly Forum for her presentation of a meta-analysis on parenting stress and child behavior problems.

March 2016: Congratulations to Francisco "Giovanni" Ramos for receiving the prestigious Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. Giovanni will be pursuing this summer in the Early Childhood Behavior Lab as part of this fellowship.

February 2015: Nicole Barroso had her first-authored manuscript, "The effect of preterm birth on infant negative affect and maternal postpartum depressive symptoms: A preliminary examination in an underrepresented minority sample," accepted for publication in Infant Behavior and Development. Congratulations Nicole.

February 2015: Congratulations to Gabbi Hungerford and Nely Garcia for successfully matching at prestigious clinical psychology internship sites to complete their doctoral training. Gabbi will be attending Kennedy Krieger Institute at Johns Hopkins University, and Nely will be attending the University of Florida Health Science Center. 

August 2015: Congratulations to Nely Garcia, who won the Division 54 Student Paper award at the 2015 American Psychological Association Convention for her talk entitled, "Family-Centered Intervention for Behavior Problems in Young Children with Traumatic Brain Injury.
